Science Across Virtual Institutes (SAVI)
This virtual institute (SAVI) was provides a bridge between our NSF WSC and SAFER projects, and the Global Lake Ecological Observation Network (GLEON). The research focuses on quantifying ecosystem process and service changes in the face of changing climate, and on identifying the best adaptation strategies in different socioeconomic and cultural settings.
The SAVI project is funded by the US NSF (Award CBET-1336839, 2013-2016), and will increase our research capacity in the above-mentioned areas by offering funding opportunities to U.S. investigators and students with relevant interests.
